About the role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – AI to join our team at DirectFN. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI/ML, generative AI, large language models, and AI-agent workflows, with a strong track record of building production-ready software and APIs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy scalable AI-powered applications and systems.
- Design and implement AI-agent workflows, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI systems.
- Build robust APIs and production-grade software solutions.
- Contribute to the full lifecycle of AI model development, evaluation, and deployment.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, model development, evaluation, and deployment.
- Practical experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, AI-agent workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience developing APIs and production-ready software solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
