Backend Developer

eTranzact Plc is seeking a Backend Developer to join their Super Fintech Team in Lagos, Nigeria. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable microservices for critical financial systems including payment processing, card transactions, POS, bank transfers, digital wallets, KYC verification, transaction ledgers, and reconciliation services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain microservices powering payment processing, card transactions, POS, bank transfers, digital wallets, KYC verification, transaction ledgers, and reconciliation services

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of backend development experience using C#, Node.js, Java, or Python
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, MSSQL, Redis, and message queues such as Azure Service Bus
