Information Security Officer /​ Data Protection Officer

Kimberly Ryan is recruiting an experienced Information Security Officer / Data Protection Officer to oversee information security, data protection, risk management, and regulatory compliance within a client organization in Lagos, Nigeria. The role requires strong expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, GRC tools, and Nigerian data protection laws (NDPR).

Responsibilities

• Manage information security and data protection initiatives
• Ensure compliance with NDPR and other relevant regulations
• Implement and maintain risk management strategies
• Utilize GRC tools for monitoring and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting, or Finance (Second-Class Upper or higher)
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in InfoSec and Data Protection
• Proven experience in the Nigerian Capital Market is preferred
• Certifications in CISA, CISM, CRISC, CEH, CIPP, CDPO, or ISO are required
