About the role
VFD Group Plc is seeking experienced banking professionals for senior management roles in retail and SME banking, digital banking, product execution, and business growth across Nigeria. These roles require strategic leadership and deep expertise in Nigerian financial markets.
Responsibilities • Develop and execute national retail and business banking strategies. • Identify growth opportunities across retail and SME markets. • Design and implement business frameworks, banking channels, and relevant products. • Drive digital banking adoption and transaction volumes. • Oversee product management, execution, and credit underwriting. • Contribute to strategic decisions and board-level representation.
Requirements • 10–15 years of experience in commercial banking, fintech, or digital banking. • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s retail and SME markets. • Experience in digital banking, e-channels, transaction banking, or personal and SME banking. • Knowledge of product management, product execution, and credit underwriting. • Ability to develop and execute national business strategies. • Strong leadership and strategic decision-making skills.
