About the role
Xpress Payment is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with 5–8 years of experience, preferably in fintech or payments, to build and maintain high-performance payment platforms. The role involves developing payment flows, integrating backend services, creating dashboards, and mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities • Collaborate with stakeholders on platform re-architecture and new features. • Integrate backend microservices and APIs while maintaining performance and reliability. • Build online payment flows, bulk payout systems, and disbursement solutions. • Develop merchant, user management, monitoring, and reporting dashboards. • Optimise frontend assets and bundles using Webpack. • Apply secure coding practices and ensure a smooth user experience. • Conduct code reviews, design reusable components, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • 5–8 years of frontend development experience, preferably in fintech or payments. • Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS, and responsive design. • Experience with React, Redux, Vue, Vuex/Pinia, and UI libraries such as Ant Design, Tailwind, or Bootstrap. • Proven experience integrating APIs and building payment flows involving cards, bank accounts, USSD, QR, and bulk payouts. • Experience developing monitoring, user management, and reporting dashboards. • Knowledge of Webpack, Git, code reviews, and reusable component design. • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
