Postgraduate Research Internship Programme

Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited is offering a 12-month non-renewable Postgraduate Research Internship Programme for Nigerian postgraduate students. This programme provides industry experience and supports research in key energy-related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in assigned discipline (Environment, Occupational Health, Pipeline Availability, or Exploration).
• Develop and submit a research proposal outlining background, objectives, methodology, data needs, and expected outcomes.
• Engage with relevant teams to support project deliverables.

Requirements

• Must be a Nigerian postgraduate student pursuing an MSc, M.Phil., or PhD.
• Applicable to one of the following disciplines:
  • Environment: Focus on impact assessment, compliance, and monitoring.
  • Occupational Health: Focus on health promotion, epidemiology, and statistics.
  • Pipeline Availability: PhD candidates in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Oil & Gas Engineering with at least 3 years of pipeline engineering experience in design, construction, or integrity assessment.
  • Exploration: PhD candidates in Geology or Geophysics with interest in AI applications in exploration workflows.
• Previous participants in the programme are not eligible.
