Operations Manager

Role Overview

The Shoe Lab NG is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their Abuja branch. The role involves managing staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring smooth branch performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Abuja branch.
• Supervise, coordinate and manage branch staff.
• Assign duties and ensure staff are punctual, productive and accountable.
• Ensure customers receive excellent and professional service.
• Monitor the handling, movement and storage of customers’ shoes.
• Ensure all orders are properly recorded, tracked and delivered within agreed timelines.
• Monitor branch sales, revenue, expenses and operational performance.
• Manage inventory, equipment, supplies and other branch resources.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Ensure company policies, procedures and service standards are followed.
• Identify operational gaps and implement practical solutions.
• Coordinate with the Head Office and provide regular reports on branch activities and performance.
• Support marketing and promotional activities at the branch when required.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or escalate issues where necessary.
• Ensure the branch is clean, organized, professional and properly maintained.
• Perform other duties as may reasonably be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in branch management, operations, retail, hospitality, customer service or a related field.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience is required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Experience managing staff and daily operations.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for branch performance.
• Experience with inventory or stock management is an advantage.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Must be proficient with basic computer applications and reporting tools.

Salary ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 monthly
