Site Operations Manager

Mosra Energy Limited, a well-established coal mining company with over 15 years of industry experience, is seeking experienced and execution-driven Site Operations Managers to provide strong operational leadership across its mining operations in Kogi and Delta States.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily production activities and achievement of operational targets.
• Maintain strong field presence and supervise mining and production activities.
• Enforce shift discipline, workforce accountability, safety, and operational standards.
• Coordinate effectively across site operations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor operational KPIs, equipment utilization, and productivity.
• Lead daily operational review meetings and ensure agreed actions are completed.
• Identify operational constraints and drive timely escalation and resolution.
• Ensure management decisions and directives are implemented consistently at site level.
• Promote operational discipline, accountability, safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant operational experience, with at least 5 years in an operational leadership role within mining, quarrying, heavy industrial, construction, or similar field-based operations.
• Demonstrable experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering production targets.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations, production planning, equipment utilization, and operational KPIs.
• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding, target-driven environment with a hands-on approach.
• High standards of integrity, discipline, accountability, and professional conduct.
• Professional certification/membership of bodies such as COREN, COMEG, NMSE, NSE, or other recognized engineering/mining professional bodies is an added advantage.
