About the role
We are looking for a confident, persuasive and results-driven Sales & Marketing Representative to join our team and help convert customer enquiries into completed vehicle sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls professionally, with the goal of persuading, convincing and converting interested customers into buyers. • Proactively call leads, explain available vehicles, answer questions, address concerns and objections, and follow up until the customer makes a purchasing decision. • Respond to and follow up with leads through WhatsApp and other messaging platforms. • Engage customers through Jiji, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other social media channels. • Explain our vehicles, prices, availability and offers accurately to prospective customers. • Persuade and influence potential buyers, build customer confidence and work towards completing sales. • Maintain consistent follow-up with serious prospects until conversion. • Keep accurate records of customer enquiries, calls, follow-ups, inspections and sales. • Represent Shuttle Mart professionally and positively in all customer interactions.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of OND qualification or higher. • Must be based in Lagos. • Must be fluent in both Igbo and Yoruba languages. • Must be available for occasional in-person meetings at our warehouse. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Must be confident and persuasive on phone calls. • Demonstrated ability to convince customers and convert leads into sales. • Good knowledge of social media platforms for business engagement. • Comfortable making and receiving customer calls. • Previous sales, customer service or call-handling experience is an advantage.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We need someone who is serious, proactive, responsive and genuinely interested in sales — someone who will not simply wait for customers to message, but will actively call, persuade, convince, follow up and work towards closing sales. We are hiring 2 people for this role.
