Survey & Network Design Engineer

A Survey & Network Design Engineer is responsible for developing network designs, conducting site assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role involves creating project scopes, schematic diagrams, and BoQs, while also inspecting installations and preparing quality assurance reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop network designs using tools like AutoCAD, Visio, and GIS.
• Create BoQs, schematic diagrams, and project scopes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Revise designs based on field feedback.
• Conduct site assessments for LAN, WLAN, GPON, and CCTV.
• Capture geo-coordinates and terrain layout.
• Document site conditions and report findings.
• Share real-time field data with the design team.
• Inspect installations for standards adherence.
• Identify and verify correction of snags.
• Prepare quality assurance and compliance reports.
• Maintain safety and functional standards.

Requirements

• BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in network design and implementation.
• Proficiency in fiber-optic and wireless network design.
• Experience with network design tools such as Visio, Edraw, or AutoCAD.
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Experience with network simulation tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of local telecommunications regulations is preferred.

Salary ₦250,000 – ₦400,000 monthly + benefits
