Senior MGPS Specialist

A Senior MGPS Specialist is responsible for providing technical oversight across Medcourt's MGPS projects, reviewing designs and installations, guiding teams during commissioning, and ensuring compliance with medical gas standards. This role also involves training and mentoring the existing team to build internal technical capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight across Medcourt's MGPS projects.
• Review MGPS designs, drawings, pipe sizing, routing, and system configuration.
• Review installation methodology and workmanship.
• Provide technical guidance to Engineers and MGPS installers.
• Support complex technical decisions and troubleshooting.
• Review copper pipework, brazing, supports, valves, terminal units, and other MGPS components.
• Guide teams during installation, testing, commissioning, and validation.
• Conduct technical site inspections and identify issues early.
• Review project documentation and as-built information.
• Support client and consultant technical meetings where required.
• Develop practical MGPS installation procedures, checklists, and quality standards.
• Train and mentor Medcourt's existing MGPS team.
• Help build stronger internal technical capability so that Medcourt can execute increasingly complex MGPS projects independently.
• Advise management on technical risks, project requirements, manpower, and technical resources.
• Ensure projects are executed in line with applicable medical gas standards and recognized international practices.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on MGPS experience.
• Strong hospital/healthcare project experience.
• Experience in MGPS design, installation, testing, commissioning, and validation.
• Strong knowledge of medical gas standards, particularly HTM 02-01.
• Strong understanding of copper pipework and brazing.
• Experience reviewing drawings and installation methodology.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Strong practical problem-solving ability.
• International project experience is highly desirable.
