About the role
Nairabet is seeking a strategic and commercially driven General Manager to lead business operations, improve profitability, strengthen operational performance, and drive sustainable business growth in Lagos, Nigeria. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the gaming or sports betting industry.
Responsibilities • Oversee business operations and provide strategic leadership. • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue, profitability, and market expansion. • Lead departmental heads, set performance targets, and ensure accountability. • Improve operational efficiency, optimise costs, and manage resources effectively. • Oversee budgets, financial performance, and business reporting. • Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and internal policies. • Identify growth opportunities and strengthen market competitiveness.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. • 12–15 years of relevant experience in the gaming or sports betting industry, including senior management experience. • Proven track record in business growth, profitability, and operational excellence. • Strong commercial, strategic planning, financial management, and leadership skills. • Sound understanding of gaming operations, regulatory compliance, and industry dynamics. • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
