About the role
VURIN Group is seeking an experienced Crane/Forklift Operator to manage lifting and material movement operations in compliance with safety and HSE standards. The role requires operation of mobile, pedestal, and overhead cranes and forklifts, adherence to lifting plans, equipment maintenance, and participation in safety activities.
Responsibilities • Operate mobile, pedestal, and overhead cranes, as well as forklifts. • Conduct daily equipment inspections and record operating hours and defects. • Follow approved lifting plans and instructions from banksmen. • Support equipment maintenance, inspections, and load testing. • Comply with Permit to Work procedures and HSE requirements. • Participate in toolbox talks and safety assessments. • Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and incidents. • Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper operating records.
Requirements • Minimum of SSCE/OND. • Certified Crane Operator with API RP 2D qualification. • Certified Forklift Operator. • Valid BOSIET/OSP certificate for offshore assignments. • Minimum of 5 years' crane and forklift operating experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry. • Experience operating mobile, pedestal, and overhead cranes. • Knowledge of crane load charts, lifting plans, hand signals, and HSE procedures. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
