About the role
Stanbic IBTC is seeking a Banker, Business (Relationship Manager) to manage existing business clients, acquire new customers, and drive growth within its Business and Commercial Banking segment. This role requires strong sales, relationship management, and financial services experience with a focus on small businesses.
Responsibilities • Manage and grow existing customer portfolios. • Identify and onboard new clients and businesses. • Build strong customer relationships and drive profitability. • Support sales and relationship management activities. • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable banking products. • Ensure proper account opening, maintenance and application verification.
Requirements • First degree in any discipline. • 3–6 years' relevant experience. • Experience in sales and customer relationship management. • Financial services experience, particularly managing small businesses, is required. • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and teamwork skills.
