Delivery Solutions Architect - Oil & Gas

A Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) plays a critical role in accelerating the adoption and growth of the Databricks platform among customers. This hybrid technical and commercial role involves leading post-sale technical strategies, collaborating with sales and field engineering teams, and ensuring customer success by driving onboarding, enablement, and successful usage of Databricks workloads.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with Solutions Architects to understand use case demand plans for prioritized customers.
• Lead the post-technical win technical account strategy and execution plan for Databricks use cases within strategic accounts.
• Be the accountable technical leader for specific use cases and customers across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Serve as the first contact for technical issues or questions related to production/go-live status of agreed-upon use cases.
• Coordinate with Professional Services (PS) resources on the delivery of PS Engagement proposals.
• Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
• Develop an execution plan covering all customer-facing technical roles and teams for key work streams.
• Provide internal and external updates to Technical GM on customer health, investment status, and project progress.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in technical project/program delivery within Data and AI domains.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting roles.
• Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
• Ability to attribute business value to project deliverables.
• Technical program or project management experience with stakeholder and resource management accountability.
• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience conducting discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, and managing complex programs/projects.
• Track record of overachievement against quota or goal targets.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% when needed.

Salary: $180,000 – $247,500 USD annually
