IT Operations Officer

Zenith Carex International is seeking an IT Operations Officer to maintain reliable technology infrastructure, office systems, network connectivity, and IT support operations in Lagos. The role involves monitoring and troubleshooting networks, managing CCTV and AV systems, supporting office hardware, and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure and ensure reliable internet connectivity.
• Liaise with internet service providers and telecom vendors to resolve outages, track SLAs, and coordinate maintenance.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting involving routers, switches, access points, and IP configurations.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, recording systems, and security feeds.
• Coordinate CCTV repairs, upgrades, and maintenance with external vendors.
• Maintain meeting room technology, projectors, video conferencing equipment, and audio systems.
• Manage printers, scanners, and other office peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues.
• Work with HR to prepare laptops, user accounts, software access, and permissions for new employees.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and track equipment during onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.

Requirements

• 2–4 years’ experience in IT operations, help desk support, or technical systems administration.
• Proficiency in Windows and macOS configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, IP configuration, and Wi-Fi management.
• Experience with CCTV cameras and NVR/DVR systems.
• Knowledge of audiovisual and conference room systems.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Active Directory.
• Strong vendor management, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive approach to preventing technical issues and minimising downtime.
