Retail Executive

A Retail Executive is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role involves engaging with customers, promoting products, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist them in selecting suitable fashion items.
• Understand customer needs and recommend products that match their preferences.
• Actively promote products and work towards achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests.
• Keep customers informed about new arrivals, promotions, and available products.
• Ensure that products are properly arranged, displayed, and priced.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising standards.
• Monitor product availability and report low stock levels to the store manager.
• Assist with stock counts, inventory checks, and stock movement documentation.
• Ensure that all sales transactions are properly recorded and handled according to company procedures.
• Submit accurate daily sales reports and customer feedback.
• Work with the Store Manager and other team members to achieve store targets.
• Identify customer preferences, product requests, and potential sales opportunities.
• Participate in store meetings, product training, and sales improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• A minimum of an SSCE qualification; additional qualifications will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in retail sales, fashion, customer service, or a related role is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and persuasion skills.
• A genuine interest in fashion, styling, and retail sales.
• Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
• Honesty, punctuality, accountability, and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in a team and meet sales targets.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems are an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site and according to assigned store schedules.

Salary ₦100,000 – ₦130,000 monthly, depending on experience
