We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join our secondary school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching physics concepts, developing scientific skills, and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective physics lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Conduct practical and experimental activities.
• Assess and monitor student learning.
• Develop students' problem-solving and scientific thinking.
• Manage the physics classroom and laboratory.
• Ensure health, safety, and safeguarding.
• Support students' overall development.
• Maintain accurate academic records.
• Collaborate with colleagues.
• Communicate with parents and school leadership.
• Engage in continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification such as PGDE, NCE, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Previous experience teaching Physics at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary-school Physics curriculum.
• Ability to teach both theory and practical Physics.
• Competence in using assessment to improve student outcomes.
• Practical/laboratory skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
• Technology skills to enhance learning.
