Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Therapist – Trainee

Proodos Care is seeking passionate and dedicated ABA Therapist Trainees to support children with developmental delays, autism, and communication challenges through evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions.

Responsibilities

• Implement person-centered ABA and Positive Behavior Support programs.
• Support children in developing communication, social, and functional life skills.
• Collect and maintain accurate daily data on therapy goals.
• Assist children during challenging behaviors and provide appropriate support.
• Organize and maintain therapy materials and resources.
• Support personal care and self-help activities when required.
• Attend trainings, team meetings, and professional development sessions.
• Promote child safeguarding, wellbeing, and professional standards at all times.

Requirements

• Degree in Psychology, Child Development Studies, Special Education, or a related field.
• ABAT or RBT certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental delays and/or autism.
• Experience supporting individuals with speech sound disorders is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ABA methodologies and behavior management techniques.
• Must have completed NYSC or be concluding service within the next 2 months.
• Must reside in Lagos or be willing to relocate at personal expense.
• Willingness to work on either the Island or Mainland based on client needs.
