Terra Energy Services Nigeria Limited is seeking experienced and technically competent Maintenance Supervisors to support safe, reliable, and efficient upstream oil and gas operations. The role involves supervising preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly maintenance activities, including manpower, materials, permits, isolation, spare parts, and contractor support.
• Monitor equipment condition and reliability and drive defect elimination and maintenance backlog reduction.
• Support root-cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Coordinate shutdown, overhaul, commissioning, and equipment reinstatement activities.
• Ensure maintenance activities are properly planned, executed, documented, and closed out.
• Lead safe maintenance execution in accordance with Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), risk assessment, and isolation requirements.
• Supervise, guide, and coach maintenance personnel and coordinate activities with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Escalate equipment defects, operational risks, safety concerns, and maintenance issues appropriately.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant Engineering discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry with strong upstream E&P exposure.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in comparable offshore or operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, operational controls, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Relevant engineering or technical/trade certification.
• BOSIET/HUET and valid offshore medical certification where applicable to offshore deployment.
