About the role
Finance Manager / Accountant
The Finance Manager / Accountant is responsible for ensuring the financial health and strategic management of Nairapoint Finance Limited. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and financial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute short- and long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Monitor capital adequacy, leverage ratios, and equity/debt structures.
- Oversee end-to-end financial close processes and produce audit-ready financial statements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost performance analysis.
- Ensure tax compliance and manage statutory reporting.
- Design and implement internal control frameworks.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a relevant business discipline.
- Fully chartered accountant (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or recognized international equivalent) is mandatory.
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership/managerial position.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS standards, Nigerian tax regulations, and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership and presentation skills.
- Uncompromising ethical standards.
