About the role
Mbalagos is seeking a Product Designer (UI/UX) to lead the creation of its first product design team, establish design processes, and enhance user experience across enterprise software products. The role involves end-to-end design leadership, collaboration with engineering and product teams, user research, and building scalable design systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead UI/UX design across the full product development lifecycle.
- Conduct user research and interviews.
- Collaborate with engineering teams from prototyping to product release.
- Work with product, strategy, and partnerships teams.
- Establish efficient design processes.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of future design talent.
Requirements
- 5 years of software product design, UI, and UX experience.
- Experience conducting user interviews.
- Experience designing enterprise software for desktop and mobile.
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe XD, Hotjar, GitHub, and Notion.
- Experience building design teams and processes.
Salary ₦300,000 – ₦600,000 monthly
