Welder

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, equipment, and components used in construction projects. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret technical drawings and perform welding activities in compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication of metal components and structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and project specifications.
• Repair and maintain metal frameworks, equipment, and machinery parts.
• Conduct inspections to identify defects and ensure weld quality.
• Operate welding equipment and related tools safely and efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Collaborate with supervisors and construction teams to meet project timelines.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/Technical Trade Certificate in Welding and Fabrication.
• Relevant welding certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in arc welding, MIG, TIG, and gas welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good understanding of workplace safety procedures.
