Accounts Officer

Greg Consulting is seeking an Accounts Officer to manage financial records and ensure compliance for a toy store in Ikoyi, Lagos. The role involves maintaining accurate accounting systems, preparing reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Maintain inventory records of stock and supplies
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports/account reconciliation
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Process invoices, payments, receipts and other financial documents
• Ensure compliance with tax regulators including VAT, WHT, PAYE
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial records
• Perform other accounting and finance related duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• OND/HND/BSC in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience as an Accounts Officer, Account Assistant, or in a similar role
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Must reside in Ikoyi or its environs

Salary ₦200,000 – ₦220,000 per month
