About the role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Internal Control Audit Manager to oversee audit activities, strengthen internal controls, manage risks, and ensure regulatory compliance at Africa Industries' Sagamu Plant. This role requires a strong background in internal audit and risk management within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities • Lead and supervise internal control and audit activities. • Identify risks, control weaknesses, and potential fraud. • Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions. • Prepare audit reports and present findings to Management. • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in internal audit, internal control, or risk management, preferably in manufacturing. • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CIA) is an added advantage. • Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. • Excellent leadership, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
