Support Services Analyst III

Support Services Analyst III is responsible for performing a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the operation of enterprise, client/server and desktop computer systems and networks. This includes analyzing, detecting, identifying and correcting technical problems, configuring and installing computer hardware and software, managing inventory control of IT equipment and supplies, and maintaining IT hardware asset and software tracking.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the operation of enterprise, client/server and desktop computer systems and networks.
• Analyze, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies.
• Configure and install computer hardware and software.
• Manage inventory control of IT equipment and supplies.
• Upgrade hardware and software components.
• Maintain IT hardware asset and software tracking.
• Monitor and collect data on system performance.

Requirements

• Extensive working knowledge of PCs, network hardware, operating systems, software and network communication protocols.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
