About the role
Médecins du Monde is seeking a Logistics Assistant / Driver to support facility maintenance, stock management, and safe transportation of staff and materials in Damboa, Borno State. The role requires hands-on repair skills, vehicle maintenance, and reliable driving.
Responsibilities • Carry out electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs. • Inspect facilities regularly and report maintenance needs. • Monitor repair materials and maintain records of repairs and replacements. • Receive, inspect, organise, and record stock items. • Drive organisation vehicles in line with safety procedures and traffic regulations. • Conduct routine vehicle checks, arrange maintenance, and ensure vehicles are clean and roadworthy. • Ensure vehicle documents and driving licence remain valid.
Requirements • SSCE or equivalent; relevant technical qualification in logistics, electrical, IT, mechanical, or related fields is an advantage. • Knowledge of Damboa LGA is an advantage. • Valid driving licence and good driving skills. • Strong repair, problem-solving, and organisational skills. • Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
Salary ₦400,000–₦500,000/month
