Principal Solutions Architect

Lead the technical side of complex Enterprise opportunities at Expel, including technical discovery, demonstrations, and Proof of Value (POV) design. Act as a trusted technical advisor and bridge between Sales and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for complex Enterprise opportunities from discovery through onboarding.
• Lead POVs end to end by defining success criteria, building delivery plans, and coordinating internal teams.
• Deliver technical service demonstrations and adapt your approach based on the audience.
• Partner with Account Executives and Sales leadership on opportunity strategy and RFPs.
• Prepare Delivery teams with technical context and expectations for smooth transitions.
• Maintain strong working knowledge across security technologies like SIEM, endpoint/EDR, cloud, and more.
• Identify opportunities to improve POV methodology and internal processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Track record of independently owning complex Enterprise opportunities.
• Experience leading complex Enterprise POVs and managing technical objections.
• Strong security depth in areas like incident response, network architecture, and detection and response.
• Ability to understand how security technologies work together in real customer environments.
