About the role
HRM Office Ltd is seeking a Design Draftsman to support engineering, procurement, and construction projects in the oil and gas sector. The role involves preparing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical, piping, and construction works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical, piping and construction works.
- Develop and update P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics and equipment layouts.
- Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate drawings.
- Prepare fabrication, shop and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate drawings with mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation teams.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions and technical documentation.
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and engineering standards.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in oil and gas, EPC or industrial construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and tools such as Plant 3D, PDMS/E3D or similar software.
- Strong experience in mechanical and piping drawings, P&IDs and 3D plant modelling.
- Knowledge of oil and gas engineering standards and project documentation.
- Experience with pipeline projects, plant construction or fabrication is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills.
Salary ₦350,000 – ₦500,000 per month
