Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive will drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding the business through strategic client relationships, and leading business development initiatives to increase the organization’s market presence and product reach.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth while maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Develop and implement business development strategies to expand market reach and increase client acquisition
• Lead, guide, and monitor the business development team to achieve assigned growth and revenue targets
• Analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, and provide sales performance insights and reports to management
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery, client satisfaction, and successful conversion of business opportunities
• Monitor assigned customer accounts and identify early signs of repayment challenges
• Follow up with customers on repayment obligations where required
• Ensure that customer applications meet established eligibility requirements
• Monitor customers after disbursement and maintain regular contact
• Collect and review required customer documentation before submitting applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
• 1–5 years of experience in business development, sales, relationship management or financial services is an advantage
• Relevant professional qualifications or certifications are an added advantage
• Experience in loan marketing and customer acquisition especially finance house is desirable
