Material Handler – Onne (Senior Technician)

Terra Energy Services Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced and technically competent Material Handler to support the safe, efficient, and reliable handling and management of oilfield materials and equipment. The role involves receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring warehouse safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, identify, preserve, store, and issue oilfield materials and equipment.
• Verify material quantities, condition, identification, specifications, and supporting documentation against approved records.
• Support loading and offloading, lifting, packing, preservation, and safe movement of materials within warehouse and logistics areas.
• Maintain accurate bin locations, stock records, material traceability, and warehouse documentation.
• Coordinate materials required for offshore and project mobilization, dispatch, demobilization, and returns.
• Ensure materials are stored appropriately and protected against damage, deterioration, contamination, or loss.
• Monitor material condition and preservation requirements and report issues promptly.
• Identify and report shortages, damages, discrepancies, incorrect documentation, and preservation concerns.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping and safe material handling practices.
• Support inventory counts, stock verification, and reconciliation activities as required.

Requirements

• HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or relevant technical/logistics qualification.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, with strong upstream E&P exposure.
• Proven hands-on experience in comparable warehouse, logistics, materials handling, or oilfield operating environments.
• Strong knowledge of material handling procedures, warehouse operations, inventory controls, and technical documentation.
• Forklift, rigging, or lifting certification is desirable.
• Relevant logistics, warehouse, or materials management certification will be an added advantage.
