Medical Laboratory Scientist

MELSW Limited is seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to join their team in Benue, Nigeria. The role involves performing clinical laboratory tests and maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical laboratory tests using analysers, microscopy, electrophoresis, and blood transfusion procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and quality control protocols.
• Support laboratory setup and staff training where applicable.

Requirements

• BMLS or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Full MLSCN registration and current practising licence.
• At least 5 years’ post-registration clinical laboratory experience.
• Practical experience with analysers, microscopy, electrophoresis, and blood transfusion procedures.
• Willingness to live in Olago or nearby.
