Senior Tax Officer

ARCO Group is seeking a Senior Tax Officer to manage tax compliance, planning, advisory, and risk management across the Group’s operations in Lagos, ensuring adherence to Nigerian tax laws. The role requires expertise in corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and handling regulatory audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws across the Group’s operations.
• Manage tax planning, advisory, and risk assessment.
• Handle tax audits, assessments, and regulatory correspondence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of taxation in oil and gas, oilfield services, engineering, or construction industries.
• Proficiency in Nigerian corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory obligations.
• ICAN, ACCA, CITN, or another relevant professional qualification (strongly preferred).
