Sector Head, Transportation
The Sector Head, Transportation is responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in the transportation sector, driving growth, and ensuring the bank's continued success in this market. This role involves strategic planning, customer relationship management, credit analysis, team leadership, and product development.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategies, targets, and marketing goals for the transportation sector.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the unit and ensure smooth running.
- Develop and execute credit reviews, risk assessments, and loan workout packages.
- Train and develop team members to meet professional standards.
- Generate profitable assets and stable sources of liabilities for the bank.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ cognate experience, including relevant experience in the assigned sector(s).
- Deep knowledge of credit analysis, banking policies, and treasury operations.
- Strong IT proficiency and ability to think independently.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
