Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards required by the organization. The role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and delivery speed
• Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast needs
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentations
• Evaluate suppliers/vendors performance and manage relationships
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements
• Conduct open market research to explore price options and cost-saving opportunities
• Handle procurement-related issues and resolve discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Management or any related field. Professional certifications is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in procurement & purchasing from manufacturing company preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good analytical and organizational abilities
• Understanding of purchase contract management and supplier
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
