Graduate Trainee (Spare Parts)

A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Limited is seeking a Graduate Trainee to support operations within its spare parts division. The role involves inventory management, stock control, ERP system updates, and procurement assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, identifying, storing, and issuing spare parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates of stock transactions on the ERP system.
• Monitor stock levels, identify fast-moving and slow-moving items, and report stock shortages.
• Support periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation to ensure physical stock aligns with system records.
• Assist in identifying spare parts required for vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing.
• Support the preparation and processing of material requisitions, purchase requests, and stock transfer documentation.
• Track outstanding spare parts orders and follow up on deliveries with the Procurement Department and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Purchasing and Supply.
• Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme or possess a valid exemption certificate.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, or automotive spare parts is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail, with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
