Sector Head, Emerging Sectors

The Sector Head, Emerging Sectors is responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in the emerging sectors, directing team resources towards business goals, and providing support to relationship managers and account officers. This role involves developing strategies, monitoring market trends, ensuring compliance, and driving growth in revenue and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement strategies, targets, and marketing goals for the Emerging Sectors sector.
• Monitor and assess changes in the operating environment, market needs, and competition.
• Develop comprehensive business plans and financial projections.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and identify profitable transactions.
• Analyze credit risks and structure loan workout packages.
• Train and develop staff, set performance goals, and ensure adherence to bank policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and early detection of unusual account activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ cognate experience, including relevant experience in the assigned sector.
• First Degree or equivalent; Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• A related professional qualification is an added advantage.
