Medical Doctor

A Medical Doctor is required to provide medical services to staff and their dependents in Lagos, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals. The role involves participation in healthcare planning and regular reporting to the Senior Medical Officer.

Responsibilities

• Consultation, Diagnosis and Treatment of all Staff and their dependents including all authorized contracted personnel in Lagos.
• Twice daily visit and review of the in-house hospitalized cases.
• Referral of cases to Medical Specialists that need specialized attention to external clinics, when necessary, based on International best practices.
• Reports on Monthly bases all activities carried out on Monthly bases to the Lagos SMO.
• Counselling of patients on health matters and follow up on referral cases.
• Regular contact with the external specialists in our referral centres.
• Annual medical check for spouses and retirees (including retiree spouses) and reviews.
• Carry out other ancillary services as may be requested from time to time by the Chief Medical Officer.

Requirements

• MBBS (a minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience), with experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Up-to-date knowledge in global medical issues.
• Good communication skill and networking with other professional colleagues.
