Job Overview

Brilliant Performance Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance Officer to join their team in Nigeria. The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, installing air conditioners, and ensuring compliance with building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.
• Performing machines maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Installing air conditioners.
• Managing minor electrical issues.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Troubleshooting and resolving problems.
• Preparing cost estimates.
• Understanding and applying blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Using various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools.
• Installing or replacing wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers, and other electrical devices.
• Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in the apartments.
• Adhering to state and local building regulations.
• Completing work orders on time.
• Documenting the work completed and materials used.
• Working with other electricians, general contractors, architects, and other team members.

Requirements

• OND or Trade School Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience.
