Overview

About this programme

Data scientists help businesses make better decisions with numbers: which customers might leave, which loans are risky, which products will sell. Nigerian banks, fintechs, telcos and FMCG companies are all building data teams, and remote roles are open to people who can show their work.

This sixteen-week live programme starts with spreadsheets and basic statistics, then teaches Python, SQL and machine learning step by step. You will work on real datasets, including Nigerian ones, and finish with a project you can explain in an interview. Replays mean you never fall behind.

By the end you’ll be able to

  • Clean and analyse data in Python with pandas and query databases with SQL
  • Build clear charts and a dashboard that tell a story
  • Train and evaluate a machine learning model with scikit-learn
  • Present a complete data project on GitHub and explain it to non-technical people
