Software Engineering Manager

Vethan Concepts Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead its software engineering and technology development team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software engineers and development teams.
• Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Design, review, and implement scalable software architecture.
• Oversee web, mobile, backend, database, and API development.
• Manage software projects from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Establish and maintain software development and Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
• Ensure proper testing, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and deployment.
• Oversee data management, database performance, security, and integrity.
• Drive system integration, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with the CTO and management on technology strategy and execution.
• Mentor developers and ensure high technical and professional standards across the engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant software engineering experience, with proven leadership experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Proven experience in software architecture and system design.
• Practical mobile application development experience.
• Strong data management and database experience.
• Proven IT and project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, software testing, debugging, and quality control processes.
• Experience managing and mentoring software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, system integration, cloud technologies, version control, and deployment processes.
• Ability to combine technical leadership, project management, and hands-on engineering expertise.
