The Internal Auditor is responsible for providing independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of the Company's financial controls, operational processes, risk management systems, and compliance procedures. The role involves reviewing financial transactions, conducting audits, identifying control weaknesses, investigating irregularities, and recommending improvements to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal audit plans based on identified business risks.
• Conduct routine and periodic audits across relevant departments.
• Review financial transactions, supporting documentation, and accounting entries.
• Perform cash and revenue audits, including surprise cash counts and reconciliation.
• Review bank reconciliations, procurement processes, inventory records, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Verify payroll records, assess operational processes, and monitor compliance with policies.
• Investigate fraud indicators and support risk management activities.
• Maintain audit working papers, prepare audit reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
