Fibre Engineer
A Fibre Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks. This role requires a strong understanding of fiber splicing, testing, and network concepts.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain fiber optic networks
- Perform fiber splicing and termination
- Conduct OTDR and fiber testing
- Troubleshoot fiber faults
- Read and interpret fiber/network diagrams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-6 years of experience
- Knowledge of IP/networking concepts
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork
- Ability to work in the field and under pressure
