Senior Systems, RISC-V & BSP Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems, RISC-V & BSP Engineer to build and maintain the reproducible Linux/RISC-V execution foundation powering the hardware platform and One-Click environment. The role focuses on RISC-V, Linux kernel, BSPs, toolchains, build systems, CI, and hardware-in-the-loop deployment.

Responsibilities

• Reproduce and control Firefly/SpacemiT BSP, kernel, device-tree, sysroot, and toolchain builds.
• Own and document Yocto/OpenEmbedded/BitBake build paths and vendor layers.
• Build reproducible RISC-V cross-compilation environments and architecture matrices.
• Define target profiles covering ISA extensions, ABI, kernel, libc, runtime libraries, and deployment constraints.
• Support OpenSBI/U-Boot/Linux integration at the BSP boundary.
• Implement CI runners, caching, artifact versioning, and reproducibility checks.
• Create deployment and result-return workflows to physical K3 nodes and support HIL automation.
• Support C/C++ and Python/native workload dependency reconstruction.
• Train the engineering/platform team on builds, deployment, and recovery.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Linux systems, BSP, or embedded platform engineering experience.
• RISC-V experience preferred; strong ARM/embedded Linux cross-build experience required.
• Hands-on experience with Yocto/OE, BitBake, U-Boot, Linux kernel/device-tree, toolchains, and CI.
• Strong knowledge of Docker/OCI, Bash/Python, and reproducible build practices.
• Comfortable debugging boot and runtime issues across firmware, BSP, and application boundaries.
