Social Listening & Digital Analytics Lead

AIDHealth Inc. is seeking a Social Listening & Digital Analytics Lead to monitor and analyze online conversations related to health, gender, and social issues in Nigeria. The role involves setting up and managing social listening platforms, designing queries, producing reports, and collaborating with a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the licensed social listening platform for the programme, its themes, and related community activities.
• Design, test, and maintain Hausa search queries, including spelling variants, Hausa–English code-switching, and Ajami script.
• Monitor online conversation daily and issue priority alerts to the Partner within agreed timeframes.
• Produce regular monitoring summaries and keep the Partner’s live dashboard current.
• Track audience response to programme-related community and digital activities.
• Lead the selection of listening tools and the applications for platform data access.
• Contribute listening findings to periodic learning reports, the baseline report, and the final report.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Communications, Data Science, Media Studies, Social Science, or a related field; PhD preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in social listening or media monitoring.
• Hands-on use of at least one enterprise listening platform (Meltwater, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, or Sprinklr).
• Experience designing Boolean queries and testing them for precision and recall.
• Experience monitoring Nigerian or Hausa-language online spaces.
• Fluent Hausa and English.
