Mechanic

Responsible for carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of company vehicles and equipment. Diagnose mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs, conduct preventive maintenance and inspections, and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of company vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Ensure tools and workshop equipment are properly maintained.
• Identify potential mechanical problems and recommend corrective action.
• Ensure all repairs are carried out safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• OND/HND or relevant technical qualification in mechanical engineering/automobile engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ practical mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle and industrial machinery maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults.
• Good knowledge of workshop safety procedures.
• Relevant manufacturing experience is required for all positions.
