Director of Sales - Remote (anywhere in the US)

Knock is looking for a proven sales leader to own the performance and growth of Knock's Account Executive organization. This role involves managing leads, loan applications, team development, and positioning Knock’s Bridge Loan™ product effectively in the market.

Responsibilities

• Own the AE organization's number — outreach activity, leads, conversion, and loan application volume against the company plan
• Set and defend the team's production standards, and revisit them as the lead mix and product set evolve
• Hire, develop, coach, and hold accountable the Account Executive team
• Maintain distinct playbooks for retail lending partners and for the broader lender and agent set
• Design and evaluate AE compensation plans in partnership with the People team and Finance
• Deliver an accurate rolling forecast to the leadership team, and run the pipeline and forecast cadence behind it

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of sales or business development experience in mortgage, real estate, or proptech, including at least 4 years leading sales teams
• Track record of hiring, coaching, and developing sellers into consistent performers
• Demonstrated ownership of a sales number, with a track record of growing lead and application volume while forecasting accurately against plan
• Deep understanding of how to sell into retail lending
• Ability to set the positioning strategy for a Buy Before You Sell product
• Command of the competitive landscape
• Experience designing or materially influencing sales compensation plans
• Strong analytical judgment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A deep belief in fostering inclusive, equitable practices
• Proven success in a fully remote, distributed team environment
• Recent lending experience required

Salary $165,000.00 - $180,000.00 USD annually, with a bonus based on achievement of plan metrics
