Mining Safety Manager

Diamond New Energy (Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited) is seeking a dedicated Mining Safety Manager to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at their lithium mining operations in Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA. The role involves developing safety policies, conducting inspections and audits, investigating incidents, delivering training, and fostering a zero-accident culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency response procedures.
• Monitor compliance with government regulations and company safety standards.
• Supervise and train workers on safety protocols.
• Ensure safe operation of mining equipment, drilling, blasting, excavation, and heavy-duty machinery.

Requirements

• MSc or Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mining safety regulations, HSE standards, risk assessment, and hazard management.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE policies.
• Experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Knowledge of mining equipment and operational safety.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA, Nasarawa State.
• Commitment to a zero-accident culture and continuous improvement.

Salary ₦500,000 – ₦800,000 per month
