A friendly and professional waitress is needed to provide excellent service to guests at West Side Beach Resort & Hotel. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests warmly, show them to their tables, and provide menus.
• Order Taking: Share daily specials, explain menu items, note dietary needs or allergies, and take accurate food and drink orders via memory, a notepad, or a POS system.
• Service: Deliver food and beverages promptly, check in on guest satisfaction, and clear or pre-bus tables.
• Payments: Deliver checks, process cash or card transactions, and collect tips.
• Kitchen & Bar Communication: Relay orders clearly and track timing so dishes leave the kitchen hot and fresh.
• Side Work: Set and reset tables, roll silverware, and restock station condiments.

Requirements

• Customer Service: A friendly, patient, and approachable attitude.
• Communication: Clear verbal skills to explain the menu and handle special requests.
• Multitasking & Organization: Ability to juggle several tables and fast-paced demands.
• Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand for long shifts and carry heavy trays or plates.
• Basic Math & Tech: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic cash handling.
