CashXpress Nigeria Limited is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Financial Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, regulatory compliance, financial planning, taxation, and reporting functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, revenue projections, and financial performance metrics.
• Lead and manage tax-related activities, including corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and international taxation matters.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient structures and strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, financial regulations, and fintech compliance requirements.
• Develop, review, and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Support business expansion initiatives with financial analysis and feasibility studies.
• Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company growth objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is an added advantage.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CFA, or CPA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of proven experience in a financial institution, FinTech company, Microfinance Bank, Digital Lending company, or related financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of international taxation, transfer pricing, cross-border financial regulations, and financial policy management.
• Experience working with financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in financial management systems, Microsoft Excel, and ERP software.
